I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics and Global Citizenship at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio in the fall of 2023.

 

I received my PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside. My research concentrates on modern political thought (particularly the French Enlightenment), eighteenth-century gender debates, and the intersection of political theory and literature. My dissertation investigated the consequences of the style and form of texts for political and philosophical knowledge.

My current research examines the political aspects of obscurity.
